How we develop
Using the latest development technologies, we assemble a team if required, or develop the solution in house depending upon the requirements. Different jobs require distinct talents, sometimes needing graphic designers, to sound engineers, mathematicians or other specialities.
Typically, most jobs will begin with a software or web development proposal that we prepare after first meeting with the client and working out what they require. The proposal will include costing, user interface overviews, program flows, class definitions, database design and other related information to allow the client to see what will happen during development. The proposal also helps to formulate that what we understand the client is actually what the client wants.
A good solution requires a solid foundation on which to build on as we know from experience all software grows over time. We don't just develop a quick solution for the job at hand, we also ensure what we design has a solid foundation for future growth.
Who we are
Software Development has a 20-year history first starting out as Goodwin's Computing Service in Marybourgh, Queensland, then moving to Brisbane and changing the business name to All Service & Software. All Service and Software operated for several years until changing name to Software Support Pty Ltd to form a company. In 2003 Software Support Pty Ltd created a sister company dedicated to Software Development called Software Development Pty Ltd. Software Support Pty Ltd was later sold, leaving Software Develompent Pty Ltd to concentrate on development.
